Meet Our Team

Alyssa & Matt Hughes, Owners

Barefoot Baby originally started when Alyssa started to create clothing for the couple's oldest child and newborn as a side hobby. As the business grew, Matt got involved and started the foundations of what the company looks like today. Now, with three children, they have worked together to scale the business. Alyssa designs the clothing and runs the online presence, while Matt does all the bookwork, IT, and sales. They still prioritize time outside with their children, picking them up from school every day so the whole family can hike, explore, and live life barefoot.  They are forever thankful for the blessings that God has provided them with their children and success in the business.

Sarah Seaman, Production Team Lead and Product Mock-Up Specialist 

The first ever employee of Barefoot Baby, Sarah started printing shirts in the Hughes' home. She has since been an integral part of the company's growth, learning right alongside the Hughes' as they all navigated the changes that come in the first couple years of business. She is the current Lead of Production, and has also taken a new role in Photoshopping in order to strengthen the brand photography. 

Harlie, Production Team

We are so excited to have Harlie on our team! Harlie is a wife and mother to two beautiful boys who love living life barefoot. She is an invaluable member of our production team, bringing her love of all types of music, humor, and smile to work every day. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family outside. 

Elena - Production Team

Elena is the newest member of our team, and we are so thrilled to have her. As a young woman with a homeschool background, she understands what being a barefoot baby really means. The quietest member of the team, Elena will surprise you with her personality, love of sad music, and laughter. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
